Explains why different countries come up with inventions about the same time;

cars, energy generation, etc.

Yes. But what I was interested in was whether we have free will or whether we are programmed like computers. And also, what tendencies and behaviors do we inherit. Adopted twin studies are interesting. I agree with Thom's contention that ADHD is more common because it has a better fit in our current world makes sense in light of natural selection. I need to find the article with the ideas quantum physicists discussed.

This is one of the articles; "Quantum mechanics and the return of free will," Tim Anderson. IAI news. 3rd July 2023. I read about the monkey observational and other experiments and the concept of morphic resonance before but I don't remember the context the term, morphic resonance. Although I don't believe in the supernatural in the biblical sense, but we don't know what the whole natural universe contains. Our ancesters would have thought cell phones and other modern technology were supernatural.

Maybe I'm a touch of ol' Occam here? As in, if you have "new" parameters for what you are looking for, you begin to find a lot of it that has been there all along? I happen to have been at the "discovery" point of ADHD: startled self-recognition on opening book "You Mean I'm Not..." followed by being treated like crackpot by HMO, then later diagnosed by same HMO (my Mom actually had my report cards back to elementary school!) ("She seems really bright, but...!") Y'all know the drill. Long familiar with esteemed Sheldrake etc., but I humbly submit maybe more analogous to plain old LGBTQ: always in plain sight, in fact, normal. Just tryin' to get along. I specifically am NOT denying the strangeness of the "morphic field" observations, not to mention my experience of coincidence to the extent of wondering about that "Akashic field" and boy can I tell you some Astrology anecdotes. And I fully realize the bird, or the monkey, has no consciousness of being "infected" by experience of the non-interacting predecessor. I'm just not persuaded it's the same phenomenon.

One of my sons and I were having a conversation and we both had the same idea at the same time. I said, "simultaneous invention," while he said, "simultaneous innovation."

I believe it will turn out to be something like the quantum physics, "spooky action at a distance." We had this conversation three days ago.

I read how thoughts are created in the brain and are chemically built on stored chemistry, but sometimes a hiccup occurs and a new thought is created that shouldn't have followed from what had been stored. I can find this research article to reference if anyone is interested, but it will take an hour or so because my filing system is organized by how long ago I saved it which in this case is about five months ago. lol.

By the way, I thought of another need in the hierarchy in addition to Thom's "need to feel alive." I believe a human need is the need to satisfy curiosity. I have this need and have observed it in infants and the elderly. As with other needs, it is superceded by basic physiological needs. Thanks for introducing me to new concepts and I want to know more about this topic, by my thirsty vegetable and flower gardens need my attention this morning.
