Sari Solden is not only a dear old friend, she’s also one of the world’s most brilliant and outspoken advocates for women and adults with ADHD. She’s authored and co-authored numerous books and articles, and now has a really great Substack newsletter, Sari Solden: The Inner Work of Adult ADHD.

And in a few weeks, she and I are going to do a Substack live event together. It’ll be on October 17th, at noon ET/9 AM PT, and you’ll get a notice or link to it if you sign up to get her newsletter or you’re a subscriber here.

So, be there or be square! See you in a few weeks!

— Thom

Here’s the announcement as Sari sent it out from her site: Note from Sari:

Thom and I both want to thank all our Substack subscribers for their support, and we offer this interview as a thank you and in celebration of ADHD Awareness Month.

I personally want to thank Thom for his continued support all these years and for joining me in this conversation.

(What follows is an announcement of the event)

Thom Hartmann and Sari Solden are excited to announce a reunion between two of adult ADHD”s early pioneers to celebrate ADHD Awareness month.

Thom and Sari met and worked together over thirty years ago when Adult ADHD first burst upon the scenes. They both had iconic ADHD books that are popular to this day. Thom’s, ADHD: A Hunter in a Farmer’s World,” and Sari’s, “Women with ADHD.”

On October 17th, they will get together once again for a conversation about their early days in the field of adult ADHD and their provocative roles as disrupters of the previous status quo. They will discuss how their work, among others, catapulted ADHD into the national conversation and what that experience was like for each of them personally.

In this personal and intimate discussion, they will also discuss their individual views of ADHD, areas of agreement as well as any differing perspectives, women with ADHD, neurodiversity, and the various books they have written on the subject over the decades.

*************************************************************************************************************

We invite all of our Substack subscribers (regardless of paid status) to be personally involved with this conversation by submitting questions in advance for Thom and Sari.

Please send questions in advance to sari@sarisolden.com.

This will make it easier to gather and organize.

Please put a header on them such as “questions for Thom and Sari.” Sari will choose several and following their conversation they will have time to answer many of these questions.

Our plan:

We will record live on zoom on October 17th at noon for an hour program and release it immediately afterwards to all our subscribers.

We hope you enjoy this conversation.

With gratitude,

Sari
